DAVID MILLER
Personal Life and Family :
David Andrew Miller was born in June10 1989 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal. He is a South African international player and the best all-rounder on the South African cricket team. His current age is 32 years. His marital status is unmarried. He is a left-arm batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. David Miller is famous the phrase: "if it is an arc, it is out of the park". His father's name is Andrew Miller. He was schooled at the Maritzburg college and made his first-class debut at the age of 18.
Domestic Career:
He made his debut at the age of 18 in the Dolphins' final game of the 2007-2008 Domestic Super Sports Series and scoring a half-century in the first innings. Miller scored an average of 13 runs throughout the competition. Miller played two matches in the Pro20 Series Twenty Twenty for the Dolphins, who finished as the defeated finalists in the competition.
International Career :
He got his international cap in May 2010 after a series for South Africa A and Bangladesh A where he scores second-highest run-scorer.
Miller made his international debut against West Indies on 20th May 2010 in Antigua.
Miller also made his ODI debut against West Indies just after two days. After that Miller was also selected for the Zimbabwe tour. He contributes toward both ODI as well as in T20 and South Africa won that series easily.
On 15th October 2010, Miller scores his maiden ODI fifty against Zimbabwe.
He played two series against Pakistan and West Indies before he was not selected for the ICC World Cup event in 2011.
Miller made his ODI century in the 4th ODI against the West Indies on 25 January 2015.
In the 2015 ICC World cup, he was one of the topmost performers scoring 324 runs with an average of 65 and a strike rate of 139 during the tournament.
He scores 49 runs in just 18 balls against New Zealand and won the Maon of the match award.
During the Pakistan series in 2018-2019, Faf Du Plessis rested for the last two T20 of the series, and Miller was named as the captain of South Africa.
Miller also played in the 2019 ICC World Cup.
Indian Premium League:
In 2013 IPL Kings Eleven Punjab bought Miller for Rs 6 Crore. On 6th may 2013 he scored the third fastest century in IPL history. He scored 101 runs in just 38 balls and he was not out there.
He was retained by the Kings Eleven Punjab in 2014 also where he played all that matches and Kings Eleven Punjab reached the IPL final for the first time.
Miller was released by the King Eleven Punjab in 2020 and now he is the part of Rajasthan Royals.
